Lightning struck this large locust in our backyard, super-heating the center so that it literally exploded. Pieces flew in all directions about 100 feet. The charge also entered our invisible dog fence and blew it out as well as the Verizon equipment , the ethernet cards in one computer and an AirPort Base Station, and fried a VCR before the circuit breaker switched off.
