A number of these shots were made by combining bracketed exposures of the same scene through in post-processing to produce High Dynamic Range (HDR) images, bringing detail out in lighter and darker areas that a single exposure can accomplish. Also, some of the shots employed off-camera flash to emphasize particular features or create a desired effect... I'm loving the learning!
